These projects ranged from Phase I Environmental Site Assessments to large scale Brownfield Redevelopment projects with complex environmental issues.

Risk Assessment
Bulk Petroleum Storage Plant, Columbia, Missouri (2004)
Performed an environmental risk assessment of a bulk petroleum storage plant prior to the decommissioning of the facility and to determine future exposure potentials to support redevelopment of the property. The risk assessment included subsurface investigations to characterize the extent and nature of subsurface contaminants. It was concluded that the subsurface contaminants could be effectively managed in-place without the need for corrective action. A No Further Action letter was issued by the state regulatory agency.

Phase I, II and III Environmental Site Assessments
Light Industrial Corridor, St. Louis, Missouri (1999 – Present)
Managed the environmental due diligence process prior to and after the acquisition of multiple properties located in a light industrial setting. Identified and characterized environmental issues associated with the complex that would require action during redevelopment activities. The project included Phase I Environmental Sites Assessments, subsurface site characterizations, asbestos, lead-based paint and hazardous materials inspections and remediation, removal of underground storage tank (UST) systems, subsurface remediation and building demolition. Designed and coordinated the environmental remediation activities with owners, architects, lending institutions, general contractors and regulatory agencies in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

Brownfield – Voluntary Cleanup Program
Former Electrical Power Plant, St. Louis, Missouri (2002-Present)
Performed environmental due diligence and site characterizations of a former electrical power plant including the development of remedial action plans to support redevelopment of the property. Coordinated the approval of remedial action plans with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources Voluntary Cleanup Program.

Emergency Response
F-15 Crash Site Investigation and Remediation, Southeast Missouri (2000)
The project involved responding to a military aircraft crash site in a secluded wooded rural area. Responsibilities included assessing environmental and ecological impact as a result of the crash. Subsurface investigations were conducted to show that minimal environmental impact had resulted. An ecological assessment was performed to determine the need for any mitigation to return the forest area to its original natural state. All work was performed in close coordination with the Missouri Voluntary Cleanup Program and Missouri Department of Conservation.

Asbestos Management
Multiple Residential, Commercial & Light Industrial Properties (1992 to present)
For the past ten years, managed the asbestos and hazardous materials inspection, sampling and abatement oversight at hundreds of residential, commercial and industrial buildings for the purposes of renovation and/or demolition. This work has been performed for Lambert St. Louis International Airport, City of St. Louis LRA, real estate developers, building owners and property managers.
